Email Whitelist Instructions

Please follow these instructions to ensure that you receive your messages from us by email, along with important billing emails.

Internet Service Providers (ISP's) are routinely using filtering systems to try and keep spam out of customers' inboxes. Sometimes, they accidentally filter the e-mail that you want to receive from our company. In many cases you are not notified and neither are we, that the eProHosted e-mail didn't get through. To make sure that eProHosted e-mails are not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" folder, please follow the directions below.

  Select your provider/filter:   


AOL version 7 or 8

  1. Click on the "Mail" Menu in the Menu Bar along the top of the screen.
  2. Click on "Mail Controls"
  3. About Mail Controls Screen appears, Click on "Next"
  4. Select "Customize Mail Controls for this Screen Name", and Click "Next"
  5. Select "Either"

    • "Allow e-mail from all AOL members, e-mail addresses, and domains." If you select this option, you're done. Do not continue to steps 6 - 9. Or
    • "Allow e-mail from all AOL members, and from the listed domains and e-mail addresses. Block e-mail from all others." If you select this option, continue to point #6 below:

  6. In the space provided, enter this address: eprohosted.com and Click "Add"
  7. Click "Next"
  8. Select "Allow this Screen Name to send and receive mail with pictures and files".
  9. Click Save to Apply these Mail Controls.

AOL version 9.0

  1. Click on the "Mail" Menu in the Menu Bar along the top of the screen, or,
  2. Click on "Mail Center"
  3. Mail Center Screen appears,
  4. Under "Mail Preferences" click on "Customize your e-mail" and click "Next"
  5. Under "Essentials" click on "Spam Controls" and click "Next"
  6. Mail and Spam Controls Screen appears
  7. On the right panel of the screen make sure that "Mail filtered by AOL's Advanced Spam Filter" is turned On (checkmark appears), and that underneath that you have both "Mail with clickable Hyperlinks (URLS)" and "Mail containing words and phrases on my Custom Word List" turned Off (no checkmark appearing).
  8. On the left panel make sure that "Block mail containing pictures or files" is turned off (no checkmark appearing) - we often include images in our emails.
  9. On the left panel select either:

    • "Allow mail from all senders". If you select this option, you're done. Do not continue to steps 10 - 13. Or
    • "Use a Custom Sender list". If you select this option, continue to point #10 below:
    • Note: the other options are too selective to allow e-mail from us, and almost anyone else who might send you
      e-mail.


  10. Click on the blue link: "Custom Sender List" that is part of "Use a Custom Sender List" option.
  11. The Custom Sender List appears

    • Make sure you select the second option (*) "Allow only the domains and senders listed below"
    • In the space provided, enter this address: eprohosted.com and Click "Add"
    • To allow e-mail from AOL or your friends at AOL you also want to do the following...
    • In the space provided, enter this address: "aol.com" and Click "Add"
    • To accept e-mail from other domains add the other domains in the same way you did above for all of the domains or friends e-mail addresses you want to add.
    • Click "Save" (on the Custom Sender List screen)

  12. Click "Save to Apply these Mail Controls" (on the Mail and Spam Controls screen)
  13. Close any remaining open windows.

AOL version 9.0VR (Windows Vista Ready)

  1. Click "Mail" from the menu bar, then select "Mail Center" at the bottom of the sub menu.
  2. Mail Center screen appears,
  3. Under "Spam Controls", click "Be in control of your email"
  4. "Mail and Spam Control" window opens
  5. Click "Edit" the "Sender Filter" at the bottom (under "Additional Spam Filters")
  6. From the Sender Filter window, select either:

    • "Allow mail from all senders". If you select this option, you're done.
      Continue to steps 9 - 11 to save the changes
      . Or
    • "Use a Custom Sender list". If you select this option, continue to point #7 below.


  7. Click on the "Use a Custom Sender List" link
  8. The "Custom Sender List" window appears

    • Make sure you select the second option "Allow only the senders and domains listed below"
    • In the space provided, enter this address: eprohosted.com and Click "Add"
    • To allow e-mail from AOL or your friends at AOL you also want to do the following...
    • In the space provided, enter this address: "aol.com" and Click "Add"
    • To accept e-mail from other domains add the other domains in the same way you did above for all of the domains or friends e-mail addresses you want to add.
    • Click "Save" (on the Custom Sender List screen)

  9. Click "Save" on the Sender Filter screen
  10. Click "Save" on the Mail and Spam Controls screen
  11. Close any remaining open windows.

  1. Click the "Addresses" button at the top of the page
  2. Click "New", then on the drop down list click "New Contact"
  3. Type admin@eprohosted.com in the "Email 1" text box
  4. Click the "Save" button to confirm
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 4, adding support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com

Cloudmark SpamNet

  1. Select "Cloudmark", "Options"... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook
  2. Click "Advanced"
  3. Go to the Whitelist tab
  4. Click the "Add" button
  5. Type admin@eprohosted.com
  6. Click "OK". Do the same procedure to add support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com
  7. Click "OK"
  8. Click "Yes"
  9. Click "OK"

CompuServe

  1. Go to keyword "Mail Controls"
  2. Click Edit
  3. Select the Member name that you use
  4. Put a dot in "Allow e-mail from the listed Internet Addresses and domains"
  5. Type eprohosted.com in the text box provided
  6. Click "Add"
  7. Click "OK"

Eudora

  1. Go to "Tools" menu and choose "Filters" if you are using Windows. For the Mac, select "Window" then "Filters".
  2. Click the "New" button to add a filter
  3. Put checkmarks in the "Incoming" and "Manual" checkboxes
  4. Select "From:" under the top Header pulldown list
  5. Change the next pulldown that reads "contains" to "matches regexp (case insensitive)"
  6. Enter phonepeople(\.com) in the text box provided.
  7. At the "Action" section, select "Skip Rest" on the first pulldown to send our messages straight to your inbox
  8. Go to "File", "Save" to apply your changes and close the filters window



  1. Click "Contacts" along the left side of any Gmail page
  2. Click "Create Contact"
  3. In the primary email address box, type admin@eprohosted.com
  4. Click Save. Repeat Steps 1 to 4 adding support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com
  5. Click "Spam" along the left side of any Gmail page
  6. If none of our emails are in the Spam folder, you're done. Otherwise, put a check mark on the box next to our email
  7. Click "Not Spam" button along the top

  1. Click the "Options" link
  2. Click on the "Mail" link
  3. Click on "Junk E-Mail Protection"
  4. Click on "Junk E-Mail Filter"
  5. From the selection list Choose your Junk E-Mail Filter level select either "Low", or "Enhanced" (the first two options), click the "Ok" button at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Click on "Safe List"
  7. In the space provided "Type an address or domain:", enter this address: eprohosted.com
  8. Click "Add" button.

MacMail

  1. Select "Mail", "Preferences" from the menu
  2. Go to the Rules category
  3. Click "Add Rule"
  4. For the Description type "Whitelist: eprohosted.com"
  5. Make sure the criteria read: "If any of the following conditions are met: From Ends with"
  6. Type eprohosted.com after "Ends with"
  7. Make the actions read: "Perform the following actions: Move Message to mailbox: Inbox"
  8. Click "OK"
  9. Make sure the rule is at the top of the rules list
  10. Close the Rules window

McAfee Spamkiller

  1. Click the "Friends" tab
  2. Click "Domains" tab
  3. In the Address box, enter eprohosted.com and name it "eProHosted.com".
    Choose "all users at domain" as the type, and Click "Add"
  4. Click on "Save"

Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Click the Address Book button
  2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted
  3. Click the New Card button
  4. Under "Contact" tab, type admin@eprohosted.com  to the Email dialog box
  5. Click OK. Do the same procedure to add support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com

MSN

  1. Click "Help & Settings"
  2. Click "Email Settings"
  3. Click on "Safe List"
  4. In the space provided "Add an item to this list:", type eprohosted.com
  5. Click "Add" button

NetZero

  1. Click on "Options"
  2. Click on "Safe List"
  3. In the space provided, Add Address to Safe List, admin@eprohosted.com, then click Add. Do the same procedure to add support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com
  4. Click the "Save" button to Apply these Mail Options

Norton AntiSpam

  1. Start up Norton AntiSpam, Click the "Status & Settings" tab
  2. Click "AntiSpam"
  3. Click Yellow "Configure" Button
  4. Click "Allowed List" tab
  5. Click the "Add" button
  6. In the Email Address box, enter admin@eprohosted.com
  7. Click OK. Do the same procedure to add support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com


Outlook 2003

  1. On the Tools menu, click "Options"
  2. On the Preferences tab, click "Junk E-mail"
  3. On the Safe Senders tab, click "Add"
  4. In the Add Address Or Domain window, type eprohosted.com
  5. Click "OK"

Outlook Express  (version 6 or higher)

  1. Select "Tools", "Address Book" from the menu
  2. Go to "File", "New Contact"
  3. Enter "eProHosted" in the "First" Name field
  4. Type admin@eprohosted.com in the "E-Mail Addresses" field and click "Add"
  5. Type support@eprohosted.com in the "E-Mail Addresses" field and click "Add"
  6. Type dont.reply@eprohosted.com in the "E-Mail Addresses" field and click "Add"
  7. Click "OK"

Spam Arrest

  1. Log into Spam Arrest
  2. Click the "Senders" Tab
  3. Type admin@eprohosted.com in the email field
  4. Click the "Authorize" button.
    Do the same procedure to add support@eprohosted.com and no_reply@eprohosted.com

Verizon

  1. Go to your Verizon Inbox
  2. Click "Options"
  3. Select the Block Senders tab
  4. Add eprohosted.com to your "safe list"

  1. Open your Yahoo mailbox.
  2. Click "Options" (usually Upper Right Corner)
  3. Click "Filters". (Middle Column under "Management")
  4. Next, click "Add".
  5. In Filter Name box type "eProHosted"
  6. In the top row, labeled "From header:", make sure "contains" is selected in the pull-down menu.
  7. Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter our domain eprohosted.com
  8. At the bottom, where it says "Move the message to:", select "Inbox" from the pull-down menu.
  9. Click the "Add Filter" button again.
